When you travel and see something you've never seen before, you automatically assume that everyone does it. All the time. E.g. "everyone in Paris drinks coffee in terraces".
I just moved to Valencia. Everything's new and shiny.

So you can smell it as you get home and then ruin your dinner because all you can think about is freshly-cooked PIIIIIIIZZZZZZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!
