When you travel and see something you've never seen before, you automatically assume that everyone does it. All the time. E.g. "everyone in Paris drinks coffee in terraces".
I just moved to Valencia. Everything's new and shiny.

loves their fireworks
A solid 30 mins (so far) of non-stop fireworks being launched three blocks away. I can't hear the television. The back windows are shaking. I can smell it from here. Apparently they don't want any left over for tomorrow.
